Our employees in the United States enjoy a competitive total rewards package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, and basic life and accident insurance. The program also includes optional benefits including supplemental life, accident, and disability insurance. The company offers paid time off (currently 160 hours annually, accrued at 6.16 hours per pay period), nine paid holidays, paid parental leave (maternity, paternity, and adoption), and a well-designed 401(k) plan with matching and discretionary components.

Chile

Bechtel also offers the benefit of 6 paid sick leave days, which can be used for an employee’s personal illness (e.g., the first 3 days of medical leaves under 11 days) or of a member of the employee’s immediate family. There are agreements with various institutions. Employees also have 15 business days of vacation and accrue additional vacation days in accordance with legal regulations.
