Our work in the U.S. has evolved from expanding railroads in the West in 1898 to some of the most iconic and innovative projects today.

More Than 126 Years of Experience in the U.S.

Our history in the U.S. began in 1898 with projects helping to expand the railroads in the West. Since then, we’ve built a multitude of iconic projects in the U.S., including the Hoover Dam, the San Francisco Bay Bridge, the world’s first nuclear power reactor to generate electricity, the Bay Area Rapid Transit System, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and the Boston Central Artery/Tunnel.

Today, we are helping the U.S. expand its renewable energy supplies, growing its LNG capacity, building the launcher for NASA’s next generation of rockets, removing legacy nuclear waste at government research sites, constructing groundbreaking new nuclear power facilities, supporting national defense missions, and helping to bring semiconductor manufacturing back onshore, among other projects.
