Bechtel has partnered with Sempra Infrastructure to help provide markets around the world with safe, sustainable, and reliable access to U.S. natural gas. Under the EPC contract issued by Sempra Infrastructure, Bechtel will officially commence construction on the Port Arthur LNG project.

About the Project
Currently under construction, Port Arthur LNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal in Southeast Texas with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The project facilities will include two natural gas liquefaction trains capable of producing, under optimal conditions, up to approximately 13.5 mtpa; as well as the construction of new natural gas pipelines to deliver natural gas to the terminal.
