Lee Mcintire Elected To Bechtel´s Board Of Directors

McIntire joined Bechtel in 1989 with a background in program management for the Arabian American Oil Company and Ashland Oil. In 1994, he was named senior vice president of Bechtel National, Inc. and elected president of the same group a year later. McIntire was named president of BSII in 1997, and has since overseen complex government contracts such as the environmental restoration of various U.S. Department of Energy facilities and the dismantling of a broad range of nuclear and chemical weapons for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Founded in 1898, Bechtel has completed more than 19,000 assignments in more than 140 countries worldwide. The privately held firm reported revenues of $12.6 billion in 1998.
