Bushra focuses on infrastructure finance and development at Bechtel. She had previously worked in private equity and infrastructure advisory in the energy and water sectors in the U.S., Latin America, and the Middle East.
She has published articles on energy storage, water public-private partnerships, and China’s role in infrastructure development in emerging markets and serves as Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in D.C.
Bushra completed her Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering at Stanford University with a focus on water delivery systems and project finance, M.S. in environmental fluid mechanics and hydrology at Stanford, and B.S. in hydrologic sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
