Dave is the Manager of Technology in the Mining & Metals (M&M) GBU and a Bechtel Fellow. He overseas M&M’s Copper Center of Excellence in Santiago and gives technical leadership and excellence in process technology across studies and projects. He provides functional oversight of all Centers of Excellence including Copper, Phosphate, and Bulk Material Handling. The Center of Excellence organization(s) comprise of technical specialists, several of whom are well-recognized in the minerals industry.
Dave has over 36 years of experience in mineral processing technology including supervision of test work programs, conceptual studies, feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and plant optimization. His experience covers a broad range of minerals and metals including copper, gold, bauxite, platinum, uranium, lead-zinc, cobalt, diamonds, and other industrial minerals. Dave’s technical expertise includes geometallurgy, comminution, concentrator design, plant commissioning, and plant optimization.
