Bechtel works with more than 7,000 suppliers annually from 70 countries, engaging in more than 50,000 transactions with total commitments approaching $15 billion annually. Today, Bechtel announced the 20 recipients of its 2023 Global Supplier Awards. The annual awards recognize top-performing business partners supporting Bechtel’s projects across the globe.
Bechtel maintains a complex and geographically vast network of suppliers, with an emphasis on diversity and collaboration. The 20 companies honored span 10 countries, reflecting the scope and reach of Bechtel’s business across global markets in energy, infrastructure, defense and security, manufacturing and technology, mining and metals, and equipment and logistics.

Award recipients were chosen based on multiple criteria, including overall performance, timely delivery of quality services/supplies, collaboration to achieve project milestones, and meeting or exceeding project expectations related to safety, performance, technical expertise, and environmental compliance.
Importantly, Bechtel’s supply chain partners are committed to responsible procurement procedures, continued innovation, and increasing economic opportunities in their communities.
