Cyrus is the Turbomachinery Technology Manager for the LNG Technology Group in Oil, Gas & Chemicals. He works as a turbomachinery advisor to ongoing LNG projects, FEEDs, and studies. Cyrus provides technical support on the aeromechanical design, selection, and testing of large LNG refrigeration compressors and drivers.
Over his career, Cyrus has worked on a range of studies and new engine qualifications for LNG applications. His 38 years of industrial experience covers gas turbine and compressor design, development engineering, application engineering and troubleshooting. Cyrus’s areas of expertise include gas turbine aerothermal analysis, performance deterioration, and power augmentation.
Cyrus is active on several committees of ASME’s International Gas Turbine Institute. He serves on the Texas A&M University Turbomachinery Symposium Advisory Committee. He has over 100 publications related to gas turbine and turbomachinery engineering.
