Launch Complexes

We're proud of our partnerships in the space industry through the years. Bechtel designed and built Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral, the nation's most sophisticated launch facility at the time. This technically complex facility contains a 10-level clean room, moves on a rail system, and can withstand hurricane winds and blast overpressures from rockets lifting off.

We met an aggressive, 24-month schedule to meet a crucial launch date for the NASA Mars Observer spacecraft.
